Any visit to a Great Wolf Lodge resort will undoubtedly be filled with a few stomps and howls, but on Saturday, October 19, guests took the howling to world record levels. Guests at 10 resorts across the United States simultaneously took part in the Great Wolf Lodge World Record Attempt for most people howling at the same time. On October 19, 2013, thousands of people simultaneously joined together across three time zones under the glow of the full moon in an attempt to set a new world record for the most people howling at once.
More than 4200 people took part in the Great Wolf Lodge Howl at the Moon World Record Attempt.
As part of Great Wolf Lodge’s annual Howl-O-Ween celebration, the Howl at the Moon world record attempt invited guests to take the resort tradition of howling to a new level. A daily part of the Great Wolf Lodge experience, howling with Wiley the Wolf is something kids of all ages enjoy. The previous world record for most people simultaneously howling was 296.
The world record attempt was just one part Great Wolf Lodge’s month-long event, Howl-O-Ween. During October families enjoy unique and special activities celebrating everyone’s favorite fall holiday. From pumpkin painting to collecting candy and other goodies along the super sweet Trick-or-Treat Trail, guests visiting their favorite Great Wolf Lodge enjoy all sorts of spooktacular fun!
