New York Governor Andrew Cuomo will host a Taste NY Brunch on Saturday, October 19th during the 6th Annual New York City Wine and Food Festival. The Taste NY Brunch will feature New York chefs showcasing the wine, spirits, agriculture and cuisine of the Empire State, and will benefit the Food Bank for New York City and Share our Strength’s No Kid Hungry campaign. Taste NY, the program to promote New York State food and beverages started by the Honorable Andrew M. Cuomo, will be front and center at the Food Network New York City Wine & Food Festival presented by FOOD & WINE when it hosts the Taste NY Brunch on Saturday, October 19.
The brunch, from noon to 3 pm at The Lighthouse, located at Pier 61 at Chelsea Piers (West 23rd Street and the West Side Highway), will showcase the best of New York State ingredients, prepared by renowned chefs and paired with the best local wines and spirits. Participating chefs include Howard Kalachnikoff, Marc Murphy, Liz Neumark, Joe Realmuto, and more.
Tickets for the Taste NY Brunch are priced at $150 per person, and as with all Festival events, 100% of the proceeds benefit the hunger-relief programs Food Bank For New York City and Share Our Strength’s No Kid Hungry® campaign. The Taste NY Brunch is part of the 6th Annual Food Network New York City Wine & Food Festival presented by FOOD & WINE, October 17 to 20.
